There is a step-by-step methodology
that you can follow to more effectively and efficiently
manage your projects.
This two day program (1 ½ days
for the program designed for Administrative Support personnel)
gives a basic "nuts and bolts" overview of project
management.
Recommended class size is twelve. Training by a computer
systems consultant on "Microsoft Project" can
also be integrated into the two-day design.
Objectives:
- List key stages of project management
- Describe the major tools for project planning,
scheduling and resource allocation
- Explain key actions to minimize project delays
- Describe appropriate monitoring and tracking techniques.
- Plan, prioritize, implement and measure projects
- Identify actions associated with gaining commitment
to projects
(Optional)- Integrate a few key elements of MS
Project software with a step-by-step model for project
management.
